## 1. Summary

Shipped VR has worked the standing variants hard: there are dozens of Gorilla Tag derivatives, and Meta delisted more than 60 clones in a single hour in 2025. The seated, vehicle and mount variants are thin. In searches we admit were shallow, **we found no polished goofy VR wheelchair or office-chair racer, no hand-cranked vehicle, no physics-simulated monowheel, and no VR mount whose reins have slack, which acts on its own, or which learns.**

The comfort evidence is small-sample, and we found no study of Gorilla Tag-style hand walking at all. The pattern it does show is that velocity the player controls and can stop quickly is comfortable, while artificial yaw is what makes people sick. That makes a real swivel chair an asset and smooth differential turning a hazard.

Six prototypes follow, cheapest first. Each one reuses the contact-anchored core or the existing bike, rollerblade and mech-cockpit work:

1. Office-chair push-off.
2. A push-rim wheelchair derby.
3. A hand-cranked handcar.
4. A "gerbiling" monowheel.
5. A reined mount that learns.
6. Co-op tether and carry.
